About Us
During the most difficult of times, we all need an escape from the day to day stress. This has been particularly true in the past few years and the garden has provided the relief needed for me to have some positive purpose when positive purpose could be hard to find. Gardens can give us a chance to experiment, nurture, provide a sense of accomplishment, keep us connected to the earth, educate our children, offer joy and importantly put nutritious food on our tables. I have experienced all these things this past few years and feel an overwhelming need to pass it on to my community. Every product we make is by hand and to-order so we can focus on quality craftsmanship and durability. That way our customers can enjoy and focus on their gardens instead of constant maintenance on the beds and planters. During a challenging time we all do what we can to help the people around us. I see Bend Raised Beds as an opportunity for me personally to do that. To provide a service for my neighbors that can enrich their lives as much as it has mine.
